What you can find here and how to use it

Each of the six lessons available have the following structure:
There is a "table of contents" for each lesson (see contents for the table for all of the course).
Every lesson is divided into "paragraphs".
For each of these paragraphs you will have:
- the possibility of getting the video (at various levels of bandwidth: 33k, 56k or T1)
- a copy of what was written on the blackboard (useful for low bandwidth), available as gif files
- some short notes, in pdf format
Furthermore, for every lesson are available exercises, suggested references and tests for self-evaluation.
Note: exercises and tests will be available later (before end of 2001)
Moreover, for each of the lessons are available also a pdf document containing all of the notes for the lesson, put together. There is also a file from which one can download all of the "blackboards" for the lesson. Could be a good idea to have them printed.
A list of references and suggested readings is available.

If you want to use the course, you have to go to the table of contents and "click" on the lesson that you want to "follow". Good luck!

NOTE: to see the video, you need QuickTime, freely downloadable from here
NOTE: to see the short notes you need Acrodat Reader, freely downloadable from here

Please notice that this page is WORK IN PROGRESS.
If you want, you can look at the history file to learn about the main add-ons and modifications, with date.
